不登校,高校中退の救済を目指すサポーターの皆様
お早うございます。よい天気の東京地方です。
「高校は義務教育ではないんですよ」と、不祥事（タバコ、ケンカ、万引きなど）を起こしたとき、担任の先生に言われました。それまで、息子は自宅謹慎＝無期停学処分中、反省文を数十枚書いて、学校に提出、職員会議で自主退学処分となりましたと。

相談内容は不祥事と言っても大したことをやっていないなという印象でした。生徒指導って面倒くさいのでしょうか？

東京なら、いくらでも自主退学後の選択肢があるのですが、地方に行けば行くほど、選択肢が少ないと思います。
先日、余りにもお勧めする高校がないので、東京都立高校を勧めましたが、何せ、遠方ですから、即答はできませんよね。
